A heavily intoxicated and naked British tourist fell from a second-floor balcony in Pattaya and sustained minor injuries after making a mess in his hotel room with his own feces.
At 2:06 AM on November 4th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of a foreigner falling from a height and sustaining injuries at an unidentified hotel in Pattaya. Rescue volunteers immediately went to the scene, along with reporters from The Pattaya News.
Upon arrival, rescuers found several tourists and locals in shock by the incident. At an internet cafe adjacent to the hotel, the legs of the foreigner, identified only as 51-year-old British national MR. Paul, were seen dangling through the ceiling. He was naked and shouting for help.
Rescue workers promptly freed him from the roof and provided first aid before rushing him to the hospital. Witnesses revealed that he had fallen from the second-floor balcony of the hotel, crashing through the roof of the gaming café. Luckily, he did not sustain any serious injuries.
Rescue workers went to check Mr. Paul’s room located on the second floor. However, they were shocked to find that there were human feces smeared all over the bed and across the floor.
A witness, Mr. Somrak, told The Pattaya News that while playing a game, he heard a loud crash on the roof. He then saw two mysterious legs hanging through the ceiling and immediately called for help after realizing it was a foreigner in distress.
Initial investigations revealed that Mr. Paul had been heavily intoxicated and defecated in his room. However, no one witnessed how he left the room and fell from the balcony.
It was unclear if Mr. Paul would be charged for the incident but he was expected to be asked to pay for damages to the hotel room.
