Gangrar, Rajasthan – A scandalous incident has come to light from the Government Senior Secondary School in Salera, Ajolia Kheda Gram Panchayat, Gangrar block, where the headmaster and a female teacher were caught on camera engaging in indecent activities on school grounds. The incident has sparked outrage among villagers and parents, tarnishing the sanctity of the educational institution.
Headmaster Arvind Vyas, married and residing in Gangrar, and a female teacher, also married, with her husband working in a local factory. Explicit CCTV footage revealed the two in compromising positions within the school office and other areas. Despite prior warnings, they allegedly continued their inappropriate behavior. Villagers, frustrated by inaction, installed a hidden camera in the office, capturing the misconduct and providing irrefutable evidence.
Local residents, angered by the behavior, demanded immediate disciplinary action, citing the incident as a breach of professional ethics and a threat to students’ moral environment. A large group of villagers gathered at the Gangrar police station, submitting a memorandum demanding the dismissal of both accused individuals. Vyas, reportedly holding a senior position in a teachers’ union, had used his influence to intimidate villagers and staff into silence, threatening them with legal repercussions.
Both the headmaster and the teacher were suspended under Rule 16(1)(C) of the Rajasthan Civil Services Rules, 1958. Their headquarters were shifted to Rashmi and Begu, respectively. A three-member committee has been formed to investigate the incident, with findings expected within five days. DEO Rajendra Kumar Sharma condemned the act, stating it had tarnished the department’s reputation. Villagers accused the headmaster of forcing students to clean school premises and exploiting his authority. Parents and local residents have expressed concern over the impact of such behavior on students, demanding strict and exemplary punishment to set a precedent. They have called for the dismissal of both individuals and the implementation of safeguards to prevent similar incidents. The police and education department have assured a thorough investigation, with disciplinary measures underway. The case has raised serious questions about maintaining moral and professional standards in educational institutions.
